Omar is the Executive Director and Portfolio Manager at Freehold. Omar has over 14 years' experience within private equity, funds management and real estate businesses. His experience extends across structuring, due diligence, capital raising, as well as managing and growing funds management businesses.

Prior to Freehold, Omar was Managing Director of First Quay Capital (a family office private equity fund), Strategy Director at Crescent Wealth and Associate Director at Lendlease Ventures. Omar holds a Bachelor of Laws & Commerce from Deakin University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Law & Tax from the University of Melbourne and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Sydney. In 2013, he was the winner of AFR BOSS' and the University of Sydney's prestigious award for Australia's top Emerging Leader.
