1. Wall Street ended on a high on Tuesday, after a concerning drop on Monday saw the market close for 15 minutes. On Tuesday, the Dow finished on a high of 4.89% at 25,018.16, S&P 500 were up 4.94% to 2,882.23 and Nasdaq was up 4.95% to 8,344.25.

2. The drop was a combination of coronavirus fears and a drop in oil prices. On Tuesday oil prices jumped more than 8 per cent overnight.

3. The Federal Government is announcing details of a coronavirus health plan, today, ahead of the release of the Government's economic stimulus package. They are set to introduce a $2.4 billion package to help protect Australians against coronavirus, and will set up over 100 coronavirus fever clinics.

4. Sealed court documents from the Harvey Weinstein case show that in the days following reports of Weinstein's sexual predatory ways in 2017, he made a desperate plea for help in emails to a number of influential people, including billionaires Michael Bloomberg and Jeff Bezos. In the email, he promised to enter into a counseling program for sex addicts, and wrote “Allow me to resurrect myself with a second chance".

5. In Iran, 44 people have died from methanol poisoning associated with a "fake cure" to coronavirus . On Tuesday, 54 new deaths were reported in Iran, which is the highest single-day toll since the start of the outbreak in the country.
