Donald Trump has described the impeachment charges against him as a "dangerous attack" on the rights of American people. Lawyers for trump said, "President Trump categorically and unequivocally denies each and every allegation in both articles of impeachment".
The Morrison government is set to announce an overhaul of the NDIS. An independent review into the National Disability Insurance Scheme to be released today will include 29 recommendations to cut wait times, improve services and to make plans amendable. Participants of the scheme have suffered lengthy waiting times, uncertainty and distress.
The law firm that has been advising Woolworths on it's $300 million underpayment scandal, has found to be underpaying it's own staff. Graduate lawyers were paid below minimum rates as a result of working gruelling overtime. “As soon as we were made aware of the additional payments owed to staff, we acted to ensure all necessary adjustments were made to current and former staff affected," said head of Human Resources, Richard Knox.
As “strategic priorities” and increasing international volatility call for less reliance on China, the Morrison government will overhaul it's northern development agenda to form closer ties with India, Southeast Asia and Pacific Island nations.
Wall street closed high at the end of last week. The Dow Jones was up 50.46 points (0.17%) to 29,348.10, the S&P gained 12.81 points (0.39%) to 3,329.62 and Nasdaq jumped 31.81 points (0.34%) to 9,388.94.
