  1. After weeks of criticism regarding his response to the bushfire crisis, Scott Morrison has taken a massive blow in the latest approval ratings. For the first time since the federal election, Labor is ahead of the coalition, in front 51-49 on a two-party-preferred basis in the poll conducted for The Australian.
  2. Australian comedian, Celeste Barber has raised over $50 million in donations for the bushfire crisis from the help of her 6.7 million instagram followers.
  3. Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau vows to get answers from Iran about the missile that was launched into a Ukrainian passenger Jet. Out of the 176 people on board, 57 were Canadians. Trudeau said a “full and complete” investigation is crucial in determining whether the downing of the airliner had indeed been a mistake.
  4. The Queen has summoned Prince Harry to an emergency meeting, regarding the announcement by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex that they will step down as Senior Royals.
  5. The Dow Jones, S&P 500 and Nasdaq were all down at the end of the week. The Dow Jones plummeted 0.46% to 28,823.77, S&P 500 was down 0.29% to 3,265.35 and Nasdaq dropped 0.27% to 9,178.86.
