1. Travel bubble between NSW and NZ paused

NSW residents will be temporarily unable to travel to New Zealand after the number of cases in the Sydney COVID-19 outbreak grew to 21. Two flights between Sydney and Wellington have been added to the list of exposure sites. Victoria, which declared seven Sydney areas as 'red zones' last night, is expected to announce an easing of restrictions this morning after six days of one reported case or less.

Australian Taxation Office assistant commissioner Tim Loh told the AFR that cryptocurrencies, investment properties and home offices will be among the main focuses for the ATO this year. 13 million Australian taxpayers reported income of around $827 billion last year.

A new report by Credit Suisse has revealed Australian adults are the richest in the world, with a median net worth of $US238,000 as of the end of 2020. About one in ten adults are millionaires according to the report.

Will Cutbill from the UK has broken the Guinness World Record for tallest stack of M&M's. He managed to stack five M&M's on top of each other, breaking the previous record of four. 5. Nasdaq at all-time high as US stocks rise

The Nasdaq closed up 111.79 points or 0.79% to 14,253.27 overnight, the index's highest close ever, while the S&P 500 rose 21.65 points or 0.51% to 4,246.44, within 10 points of its record close. The Dow Jones also closed higher, rising 68.61 points or 0.20% to 33,945.58.
