1. The Morrison government will introduce an $800m package to help businesses shift to digital technologies. This move responds to a report by McKinsey that found COVID-19 has sped up the adoption of technology.

2. New online trading platform, Superhero, which has been labelled as "Australia's Robinhood", has signed up 10,000 customers in the three weeks since launch.

3. CoreLogic data showed 60 homes were taken to auction in Melbourne last Saturday, but these figures are set to rise this week as the Victorian government has lifted the ban on private home inspections.

4. Treasury Wine Estates, Casella and Australian Swan Vintage have been given 37 days to submit "export questions" to China, as China’s Ministry of Commerce moves ahead with an investigation into Australian wine exports.

5. The Dow rose 1.51% to 27,584.06. The S&P 500 jumped 1.61% to 3,351.60 and the Nasdaq was up 1.87% to 11,117.52.
