1. South Australia has opened its borders to New South Wales residents as of today, as NSW recorded no new community transmissions.

2. Popular fast-food chain, Guzman y Gomez, filed documents with ASIC last week, converting from a proprietary company to an unlisted public company. This points to signs that the Mexican cuisine chain may have plans for an IPO.

3. Nike shares have made headlines, rising 13% in extended trading on Wall Street, after reporting sales in China had risen 6% and online sales rose 82%. Meanwhile, sales in North America were down 2%. 

4. England has had tougher restrictions placed again, as Prime Minister Boris Johnson slashed gatherings to groups of six, restricted numbers at weddings and sports, delayed sporting events and reinforced work from home measures. The PM said these measures would be in place for "perhaps six months".

5. The Dow rose 0.52% to 27,288.18. The S&P 500 jumped 1.05% to 3,315.57 and the Nasdaq soared 1.71% to 10,963.64.
