1. Researchers from the University of Hong Kong have announced a case of what they describe as the "world's first documentation" of a COVID-19 reinfection. A man was infected with Coronavirus in April and, after a full recovery, was infected again four months later with a different strain.
2. AMP chairman David Murray has resigned and will be replaced by Debra Hazleton. "AMP needs to continue its transformation under Chief Executive Francesco De Ferrari with the support and confidence of its investors, institutional clients, employees, partners and clients, without distractions," Murray said in a statement.
3. Scentre Group has reported a loss of $3.6 billion in the first half of 2020, with revenue down 16% to $1.1 billion.
4. Blackmores announced a profit of $18.1 million in its full year financial results, down 66% on the previous year. Revenue was down 3% to $568 million.
5. On Wall Street overnight, the Dow Jones closed 1.35% higher to 28,308.46, the S&P 500 rose 1.00% to 3,431.28 and the Nasdaq moved 0.60% higher to 11,379.72.
