1. China has raised their emergency warning to its second highest level after a new COVID-19 outbreak occurred in Beijing.
2. The Morrison government will move people on JobKeeper to JobSeeker in September when it expires. The system is designed to find them work, but the Government is contemplating making the JobSeeker payments more generous than the $40 a day it was set at before COVID-19.
3. The US Justice Department is proposing some changes to the legal protection of tech giants like Facebook, making tech companies more responsible in how they police their content. The Justice Department is aiming to encourage online platforms to be more aggressive in removing harmful content. This comes a month after President Trump signed an executive order that sought to target the legal protection of social media companies, after Twitter banned one of Trump's tweets.
4. An online logistics company, eStore Logistics, has been backed by AFR Rich Lister Ruslan Kogan, as the company use AI-enabled robots to help speed up online deliveries.
5. ASX is tipped to fall after the Dow closed down 0.65% to 26,119.61. The S&P 500 dropped 0.36% to 3,113.49 and Nasdaq gained 0.15% to 9,910.53.
