1. Treasury have readjusted their figure expectations for the JobKeeper stimulus package to 3.5 million workers at a cost of $70 billion, which is almost half the original cost. The original forecasted figures were in response to the "six month economic hibernation" anticipated by the virus, but businesses are now returning to normal after just two months.

2. An Australian Professor in Adelaide is hoping to test his COVID-19 vaccine on human volunteers very soon.

3. There have been just three new cases of COVID-19 reported across Australia overnight.

4. As China and the Australian state of Victoria move ahead with a belt and road agreement, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned it could impact America's Five Eyes partnership with Australia. Mr Pompeo said the "agreement increases the Chinese communist regime’s ability to do harm."

5. The ASX is tipped to rise. The Dow closed down 0.037% to 24,465.16, the S&P 500 was up 0.24% to 2,955.45 and Nasdaq was up 0.43% to 9,324.59.
