1. Queensland and Western Australia have become the first two Australian states to consider relaxing lockdown laws, allowing picnics, beach trips and other social outings, but holding restrictions on school and workplaces.

2. Over 1million Australians have downloaded the COVIDSafe App, which is the governments phone tracing app that aims to limit the spread of COVID-19 by tracking the movement of those who have downloaded the app.

3. There have been 83 COVID-19 deaths in Australia and 6714 cases, as most recently recorded.

4. The Chinese city of Wuhan where the coronavirus started announced they have officially cleared all their cases of COVID-19 and have no coronavirus patients in hospitals.

5. The Dow closed on a high on Friday, up 1.11% to 23,775.27. The S&P 500 was up 1.39% to 2,836.74 and Nasdaq was up 1.65% to 8,634.52.
