1. Bernie Sanders has endorsed Joe Biden as the Democratic candidate for the November US elections after dropping out of the election last week.

2. Australia’s COVID-19 infection rate has fallen below 1, which is marked as the point where the infection begins to fade.

3. Meanwhile, it has been speculated that the US’ death rates may triple by August as there have been over 23,000 reported deaths from COVID-19 in the US. As countries around the world accept medical supplies from China, the tariffs the US placed on China mean importing goods from China to the US will face high tariffs.

4. Oil has dropped again as of Monday, despite OPEC and its allies cutting production by 9.7 million barrels per day. 

5. The ASX is set to open on a high today as Coronavirus reports in Australia are seemingly dropping. Meanwhile, the Dow closed down 1.39% at 23,390.77 yesterday. S&P 500 dropped 1.01% to 2,761.63 and Nasdaq rose 0.48% to 8,192.42.
