1. Bernie Sanders has dropped out of the Democratic presidential race, vowing to support Joe Biden as the Democratic candidate who will take on Donald Trump in November.

2. The JobKeeper scheme has officially passed in parliament, where over six million Australian full-time, part-time and casual workers will receive $1500 payments each fortnight for at least six months.

3. Hours after the famous city of Wuhan lifted its travel ban restrictions, a cargo flight carrying 90 tonnes of medical supplies landed in Sydney, last night.

4. The NSW Arts Minister may be fined for retreating to his holiday home, amid warnings to NSW citizens that they must stay home this Easter long weekend or else face fines.

5. Wall Street bounced up again, setting expectations that the ASX is to open on a high today. The Dow rose 3.44% to 23,433.57, S&P 500 jumped up 3.41% to 2,749.98 and Nasdaq was up 2.58% to 8,090.90.
