About Switzer Daily
Switzer Daily is Australia’s free daily source of expert financial news, market analysis and investing commentary. We publish Monday to Friday, with three to six articles each day written by named experts — not anonymous staff.
The site was founded in 2008 by Peter Switzer as the free, public-facing companion to Switzer Report, our premium subscription investment research service. Both publications are operated by Switzer Financial Group Pty Ltd (AFSL 286531) and are headquartered in Sydney.
Our mission
To help everyday Australians make better-informed decisions about their money. We translate the noise of daily markets into useful, plain-English analysis from people who actually know what they’re talking about — and we make most of it free.
What we cover
- Markets — Daily ASX, US and global market analysis. RBA decisions, sector moves, currency, commodities.
- Investing — Stock analysis, ETF coverage, portfolio construction, contrarian-vs-consensus takes.
- Property — Australian residential and commercial property market analysis and policy.
- Super & SMSF — Self-managed superannuation, retirement income strategy, super law changes.
- Politics — Federal policy where it affects markets, businesses, and investors.

How we work
Every article on Switzer Daily is signed by a named author. We don’t publish anonymous content. Where an analyst is sharing an opinion, it’s framed as opinion. Where a claim is factual — broker rating, company financial, RBA statement, ASX disclosure — it’s drawn from a primary source. Corrections are made promptly and noted at the bottom of the original article.
