A new airfare sale is offering one-way flights from Australia to Asia for as little as $169.
This winter’s version of “just one more warm-weather escape” has arrived at a price that’s hard to ignore. A new airfare sale is offering one-way flights from Australia to Asia for as little as $169 and that’s cheap enough to make a spontaneous getaway look like the smart financial decision.
The sale is live until 31 July, with one-way fares from Australia to Asia starting at just $169. That’s Perth to Singapore for the price of a nice dinner.
While there’s a pressing deadline to book, you don’t need to travel soon. Fares cover two windows: 5 October to 22 November 2026, or 18 January to 18 March 2027. This means you can either bail on the last of winter this year, or lock in a bargain for next year before prices climb back up.
Here’s some of the standout one-way fares:
- Singapore from $169 (Perth), $220 (Melbourne), $245 (Sydney)
- Phuket/Krabi from $210 (Perth), $295 (Sydney)
- Bangkok from $225 (Perth), $325 (Sydney)
- Taipei from $250 (Perth), $330 (Sydney)
- Koh Samui from $285 (Perth), $350 (Sydney)
Scoot is the Singapore-based budget arm of Singapore Airlines and Scoot Australia’s Adam Kelly put it simply: “You don’t have to wait until December to feel the sun on your face.”
But here are a few things worth knowing: these are economy-basic fares, so no checked baggage, meals, entertainment or seat selection is included so make sure you factor that into the real cost. And bookings aren’t refundable outside Scoot’s standard conditions, and seats are limited, so “from” prices won’t be sitting on every date (blackouts can apply around school holidays too). Fares are only bookable direct via flyscoot.com or the Scoot app.
As the sale closes 31 July, if a tropical detour’s been on your cards, this could suit you. And if you miss this round, #GottaScootTuesday do roll around regularly.
