1. Labor's Kirsty McBain won the Eden-Monaro by-election over the weekend, despite Liberal and Scott Morrison's high personal ratings throughout COVID-19.

2. AustralianSuper have recorded a 0.52% gain for the 2020 financial year, after rebounding in the final quarter.

3. The WHO recorded a record number of COVID-19 cases, with 10.9 million cases globally. The biggest increase was recorded in North and South America, with 129,000 new cases over the weekend and almost 6 million cases in total.

4. Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway will gain ownership of 25% of Dominion Energy's natural gas storage facilities worth almost $US10 million.

5. The ASX is tipped for a weaker start this morning. The Dow closed up 0.36% at 25,827.36 on Friday. The S&P 500 was up 0.45% to 3,130.01 and the Nasdaq was up 0.52% to 10,207.63.
