CEO supplements share price

Her name is Christine Holgate and her claim to this accolade comes as her company’s share price smashed through the $200 barrier.

And it was only months ago that she saw Blackmores (the vitamins business and arguably Australia’s leading natural health brand) crash through the $100 barrier, beating the likes of Macquarie Bank and the CBA to this much talked about benchmark.

These achievements can best be graphically portrayed to show how far Holgate has brought this company along in only 12 months.

Yep, this was a company with a $30-something share price tag, but this week it topped out at $200.04. Anyone bessotted by Holgate after her many interviews on my Sky News Business show would be not only counting their lucky stars, they’d be counting a hell of a lot of money!
